We decided to try the camping again and this time we didn't have the rain, but we had to deal with the darkness. After work, we rushed home, loaded the bike and took off for a different campground from the week before which was also about an hour and a half from home. By the time we made it there though the ranger was gone for the day and we had to leave our camping fee in the Honor Box and then make our way through the maze of camping sites t
o the tent camping section. I had looked the campground up on the internet a few days earlier, but in real life and after dark it didn't look exactly the same. After driving all the way to the end of the road, we finally settled on a site in the Primitive section and then set up camp. The weather was just cool enough to feel good and the sky was beautiful with all the stars. These air mats in the picture double as chairs and make it more enjoyable to sit inside and read.
